DAN RIGGS
Armed Forces-Retired

President and Founder of Legacy of Honor

--I enlisted in the US Army at the age of 17 as an Airborne Infantryman. I followed the legacy set before me by many generations of my family.

--While serving my Country, I was injured and ultimately medically retired at the age of 21.

--I did not let this setback keep me down and fought my way to become a police officer as my father was.

--After 5 faithful years with my hometown department, I saw a greater need to help those who selflessly help others, thus the idea behind Legacy of Honor was born.

--I am married to my biggest supporter, my wife Sarah.
I am a father of two sons: Leland Jay and Wesley Archer.

--My values were instilled in me by my parents and their parents before them, thus the Legacy continues.

ROSS RIGGS
Chief of Police-Retired

Vice President at Legacy of Honor

--I was raised with strong Christian values by my mother who was always the tender hearted soul and my father who led by example. He was a WWII veteran and showed me what it means to serve others.

-- These values translated into my own service as I enlisted into the US Air Force Reserves under their Security Forces. I served faithfully for 12 years.

-- I set out to make a difference in others lives for the better by becoming a police officer. I served my community for  over 20 years and retired as the Chief of Police.

-- The next chapter of my life was unknown until God opened my eyes to missions work. More specifically myself and my family taking care of other missionaries in the field. This idea contributed to the foundation of LOH.

--I am married to my better half, Karin and father to five wonderful children and twelve grandchildren. I spend most of my days surrounded by my loved ones and would not trade it for the world!
